Here are some astrophotos from my archives.

A positive and negative of an image taken with a Clestron 5-1/2″ Schmidt camera I owned in the late 1970’s. It was mounted on a Celestron 8″ SCT with only a clock drive, so guiding wasn’t the best. It is a single image of Orion, not a stack or mosaic, and the exposure was a mere few minutes. what a great field of view it has, but somehow I still managed to miss the third belt star.

On the left is the Horsehead and Flame Nebulas, plus the belt star I missed in the above image.
