Two Steps Forward And One Step Back
It’s the end of Summer and the observatory is close to being finished. There is still some wiring to limit switches to complete, probably some final adjustments to the switches, and then the ladders can be removed. I also need to complete the installation of a WIFI 6 wireless bridge to replace the now defunct buried LAN cable (it failed after a big thunderstorm a few months back. It’s not the equipment, but the cable itself). Once the ladders are gone the rubber floor can be laid down and the instruments can start coming in. I can hardly wait.
